Horror – Gory – Creepy

A young man visits the father he hasn’t seen in 30 years, after receiving an unexpected letter from him, but the heartfelt reunion he imagined does not unfold the way he had hoped.

I feel misled by the description of this film as a comedy horror, as where was the comedy?!

To be fair, I completely missed it being rated a 18, which might have given me a clue that it was going to be more on the horror end of the spectrum.

I am not a gory horror fan and this was too violent for me. Hid behind my hands a lot.

I probably should have turned it off, but I thought it was going in a different direction and once the yucky violence started I had gone past half way and thought I should just finish it. Lots of clock watching towards the end wanting it to be over.

Didn’t feel like there was a gripping storyline in there either, even if I try and ignore my squeamishness around gore.

Would not watch again
